At Australian Parliament House we source and incorporate the use of our beautiful Australian produce and a range of indigenous ingredients. We are also very fortunate to be able to select from a vast range of ingredients that are on offer throughout the seasons.
Led by our hatted Executive Chef, David Learmonth, our in-house culinary team has established wonderful connections with suppliers from across the local and surrounding region, and is actively engaged within the industry where there is a greater sense of ownership and respect for Australian produce. Tastefully crafted delicacies from David and his team make your event one that your guests will long remember, they can also walk away knowing that they have contributed towards the sustainability of our Australian farmers.
GREAT HALL AND MARBLE FOYER
As one of Australia’s most impressive settings, the Great Hall is perfect for high-profile dinners and gala events, with a soaring ceiling and polished wood floors against a backdrop of the famous Arthur Boyd tapestry.
An impressive entry to the Great Hall, the Marble Foyer features two sweeping marble staircases and marble clad columns, reminiscent of a eucalyptus forest.
The foyer is also an elegant, pre-dinner cocktail venue.
Located directly under the iconic flag mast, the Mural Hall is a matchless event space for special events. Adorned with large ceramic murals depicting a river’s journey from mountain to sea, the Mural Hall is a spacious, hollow square layout with abundant natural light.
THEATRE AND THEATRE FOYER
The Theatre is an excellent venue for presentations, conferences and film screenings, as it offers fully tiered seating. The adjoining Theatre Foyer provides the ideal area for conference registration, refreshment breaks, buffet lunches and cocktail parties.
